Thanks for the replies I was rather distracted this weekend so just managed to catch up.
Interesting point re the escalators, But I see the issue.
Ah yeah I just saw the article about the chandeliers. Magnificent they were and one of the very last glamours taken away from flying I feel.
The whole terminal looked so grand (if not dated later on)
