Just merely an observer on this post but thought I would ask some light hearted questions about MAN,
Firstly, How come they have a "no bag" policy on any of their escalators?
the inside driving lanes of departures are closed (for good reason) would you think having an exterior bag drop/express check in similar to what they have in the states be a good use of this unused area? Or are we at a time where we re-open these roads in the UK after the glasgow incident many years ago?
If anyone remembers those magnificent chandiliers in T1 in the 90s? I would love to see those back as it was one of my earliest memories of the airport as a kid!
What makes an airline choose a certain terminal? Like do FR choose T1 because of the short taxi times to and from the active? Or is it the usual suspect of cost driven decisions?
Any answers would be great, having a boring morning so thought I would ask!
