Ringwayman, an interesting point you make about the CX service having little or no effect on EK loads.

Looking at the other two MEB carriers, the picture is more mixed.
QR at 2 x daily and an average load of 202 only equates to a LF of 77.8% if the 260 seat version of the A332 operated each flight. If the A333 was used at all, then that LF is less than that.

EY is more difficult to assess depending on whether the B777 operated both flights on some days.

Best case of 1 x A332 (260 seats) and 1 x B777 (2 class 412 seats) would give a LF of 94%. Worst case - if the B777 had operated all flights, it would still be a LF of 76%.

Another good month for CX with an average LF in the high 80's. If the HK were to go daily at some stage, I wonder if that would start to make an impact on the 1 stop carriers.
