Ah, yes I ought to have known about that 'h'. My only excuse is that it's been many years since I went through AMS and I'm now so old I can't remember what I had for breakfast.
I think that (almost) irrespective of whether KLM's record of luggage at AMS is good or bad - they have recognised the problem of seat back items that have no tags and are highly valuable and are doing
something about it. Further, they are using social media to look out for problems and trying to resolve them too. Now, I am one of the first to point out that the risk of tokenism in that - BUT we see so many stories in PPRuNe and the main stream media that should never have got so badly out of hand. One of my most repeated statements in here is "A carrier must assume that someone is recording everything you do".
I've not used KLM for many years (not avoiding them - just the routes I use) but I think this does give a positive view of them.
