I would hardly say that the route was "on sale" in the normally accepted sense and I cannot previously recall an 'airline' stating that bookings are insufficient to commence a route before even having a reservation system in place.
Sending an email on their website simply elicited a reply in German stating the days of operation and timings plus the ticket price of 175 euros one-way. No invitation to make a booking nor any means of doing so.
