ATR 72 much better than the ATR 42 and more seats, shame Flybe don't open two different destinations and leave Cityjet alone on these 2.
REI is no better than EHH except it has more seats but costs an extra 30% to operate. I'm guessing they had load factors of the 42 at 95+% to even have a hope in hell of making money. You can't compete a 20+ year old ATR with whatever metal Flybe will be offering be it a E190, -8 or the Sobart/Flybe ATR72-500. This will be a painful death of Cityjet at Cardiff I'm afraid unless there is substantial AF throughput.
