All pax do not need to be at the check in counter. My wife and kids are never there. I bring all the bags and passports and collect the boarding passes.
Wow. That shocked me considerably especially in today's 'climate of fear'. I would never wish to contest whether you are telling it as it is every time you travel, but in my experience, this sounds unreliable to say the least.
