I hate to state the obvious but Kendall were a subsidiary of Ansett that went bust in a spectacular fashion. Rex sort of took over the runs. Two entirely different entities. One giving an example of what not to do on regional routes, sometimes referred to as long thin routes.
Let's hope that if Westwing do use the Skytrans name it is given better treatment than the previous owners did to the business name in the last 6 or so years.
