Shenzhen Airlines
I have been at SZA for quite a few years now. Here is my honest opinion. Flying in China is VERY stressful. ATC SUCKS. Inefficiency at its best.
The airline does not feel professional at all. The flight attendants get hired for looks nothing else. I wouldn't trust them to put out a damn cigarette let alone a fire.
SZA pays the lowest. However, the 737 guys have it easy. Normally 2 legs a day, 4 days on 2 off sometimes more. And if your here more than 3 years you get a block of 5 off which if you know how to plan it you can make 7 or even 10.
A320 guys DO NOT come here you will be MISERABLE. The schedule for the airbus is horrible. Totally diff than 737.
They guys will wake up at 4 am, fly from Zhengzhou to Shenzhen. Then goto the hotel (because in China unlike the USA you can split the duty time which it total BS) and then fly that night to Shenyang or Harbin.
We have 5 guys leaving for Qatar, some just quitting. The company has gone downhill since Air China took over.
As for the release letter, we have had guys leave for other companies. SZA normally issues the letter. The problem is the background check. You see, a bc in china is basically the new airline CALLING the old airline. Well if the person they speak to doesn't like you guess what....
