TBSC, you are correct points 3 & 4 played the biggest role in the demise of Wizzair Ukraine, as for the new rules they have been reinstated and are supposed to take effect 15 December.
It is a great shame for the Ukrainian people as they have lost the only LCC they had, yes they still have Wizzair but only flying half of the flights.
One of the main headlines today is that the government do not want to lose Wizzair at all and are trying to arrange meetings with senior management of Wizzair, but it seems to me that the decision has been made and will not be withdrawn anytime soon.
Sad times indeed for Ukraine passengers until the open skies agreement comes into force, which we are told will be this year, but this is Ukraine and nothing gets done when they say or so it seems.
