I was merely making a point that when airports appoint MD's or CEO's or OD's the statement is always based around cost cutting etc etc.
well in my world safety should not be comprised when running an airport ( No I did not mention Stobart Air the airline as I have no experience of that side of the operation)
it would be just nice once in a while for someone to mention that little word "Safety" sometimes along with all the normal company speak.
In the Aviation industry safety is a given priority, unless you know of any specific safety concerns at SEN, I don't know why they would go out of their way to specify that in a new managers press release.
indeed the press statement makes no mention of cutting costs.
