Just a query on the new Flybe service to CWL. Just looking at the schedule for Sept and the route operates on Sat morning and Tues afternoon which I would have thought was a bit out for leisure weekend break travellers. Air Wales used to offer a Fri evening and Sun evening schedule which was good fit. Just wondering if there's an opportunity for a review for the W15/16 schedule?
There's also good synergy potential between CWL and ORK.CWL has recently got routes to DUS, MXP and MUC services so could be opportunity to offer the Flybe shuttle service to one of these destinations with CWL potentially benefitting from transitting passengers and splitting loads between two points of departure? ie. CWL-ORK-CWL-DUS-CWL.
Also wondering if ORK has been in discussion with Flybe on their project blackbird referred to on
Flybe | Corporate | Media | News archive If so, what routes could suit? LCY, DUS? Any thoughts?
