For the life of me I can't work out what Route Assessment Model would say YES to going head to head with two other airlines!
Of course going back to when Ryanair started, Aer Lingus failed to appreciate that Ryanair grew the market overall, so maybe FlyBe thought something similar would happen.
But nowadays the big boys have learnt how to play the low cost airlines at their own game.
Still, there's something exciting about an airline like FlyBe trying new things. I just hope they don't trash their reputation/finances in the process.

I enjoyed my day trip - but at Dublin there were 2 other services waiting around to board at the same time!
(FlyBe seems to just start and stop services continuously)
