In answer to post #230 concerning the reduction in runway length, there is a comment on the airport enterprise zone announced in the budget from the head of the local economic development agency

"We are not going to get Jet2 back overnight, but the full length of the runway will be protected and will continue to operate"
I understand that this is one of the conditions of the area being granted enterprise zone status.
