You guys are being ridiculous. What's the difference between uploading a resume through seek or this mob? Would they need a few tv appearances or ads before you trust them?

We give our credit card numbers to the internet every day and don't think twice. Here's an idea.... If you want to steal resumes for some weird reason, put a job on AFAP with a hotmail address attached, because apparently that's acceptable but this isn't.
There's a huge difference between sending or uploading a CV and sending personal details. If you are asked for things like DOB, license or passport data, credit data, etc. then you are giving that person/entity access to your banking; you better be sure you trust them.

Same goes for credit card information, there's a massive difference between sending credit card information and using your credit card through a secure system to pay for something.

I personally can't see any reason why a legitimate job search agency, or even a company hiring someone, should require license, passport, credit or other information like that through email. Yes they will require it at before they can hire you, but they don't need it to evaluate you in the preliminary stages.

Just be careful.
