The EMB was the perfect aircraft for the twice daily. Used to take it myself most weeks and seldom ever had more than 2-3 seats vacant. When Cityjet had their Avro back free to takeover the loads went belly up. 47 people on the EMB is a bit different on an Avro. Must say that during the summer term when the Avro did operate the load factor and yield was very high. Naturally with EI back in the frame for the Autumn the forward bookings were poor. I'd have preferred the CDG routing than the LHR one and hence won't fly with the greenies after what they did. Prefer the trustworthy FR or commute to DUB & take *A or FB company.
