After reading some of the previous posts, simply not answering the phone seems to be the best policy as far as I can see.
With so many idiots phoning you up in Dubai trying to sell you something or typing in the wrong number, I don't answer the phone unless I know the number and wish to speak to them. The bank stopped bothering me a while back with their sales calls. Bliss
