MH370 new thread after previous one closed.

What happened to the old thread?

Why was it closed?

Some quick observations.

If as seems increasingly more apparent that it was one of the pilots who took control of the aircraft.

Some other conclusions seem to arise from any scenario that involves one of the pilots seizing control.

This was no spur of the moment decision.

This was a complicated plot of some sort, that involved careful planning, execution at exactly the right moment, difficult manevours designed to avoid detection and observation of both military and civilian radar.

The chance of someone waking up on the morning of the flight and deciding on the spur of the moment to commit suicide and take hundreds of others with them is beyond belief.

Some one had to have spent a considerable amount of time planning this.

If the intent was to ditch the A/C to reduce the chance of it being found and you accept that it was carefully planned I contend that you don't wait for fuel exhaustion. I contend also that if you have had time to plan, you don't just ditch randomly in the ocean. And if your aim is for the aircraft not to be found, and this has all been so carefully planned then you would have a target. The deepest trench in that part of the world.
