Hello Pranav,
I think this rule is fair as one should have some background of physics and mathematics to understand ground subjects, during my training days I saw how many mates struggled in AD/Nav who did physics & maths from NOS.
More over after CPL when you will sit for Airline exams again they will ask you question based on physics & mathematics - As Masalama wrote it will help you only in long run.
PS: Dont start your training with filing a case on DGCA, Just Dont.
