Yes, a thoroughly good day out, and nice to be back "home".
As well as waiting for the weather to improve, we also needed the services of an engineer to drain out some fuel, as some kind soul had thoughtfully filled 'BI to the brim , making us 100Lbs overweight

.
Wycombe did a very good job getting us through the murk on the way up, its just a shame his IMC has lapsed, otherwise we''d have been able to go above it all.
I didn't get to spend a lot of time talking to you all, as my parents, who live near Hull, came over, so I spent some time with them as well.
I think the Gazelle was leaving just as we parked up.
CB - I'm afraid its not me in the picture at all. Wycombe is kneeling on the ground, and the person standing behind the door is the third member of our crew, who isn't a Ppruner (yet!)
As far a those who didn't make it go, I think the weather thing is an excuse, and it was the idea of the dragons that put them off, which is pretty silly really, as they were really very friendly. After all none of us suffered anything worse than minor second degree burns, and they only ate a couple of people, and I'm sure one of those was by accident
Looking forward to the next one.
