I personally would try two attempts, after that, start pitching for required speed and attempting again whilst doing the QRH.
Another point of view is that the attaining of the correct speed as per QRH figure should be carried out
at the same time as completing the memory items. There would be no logical reason to try "two attempts" and only then "start pitching for required speed."
