My main concern is that CWL has only attracted a new airline and routes by by offering substantial financial incentives that seemingly go way beyond the usual discount landing fees etc When new routes are launched. This does not say much for Cardiff commercial attractiveness to airlines. The WG have certainly blurred the lines between loan and subsidy and goes to show how desperate they are to secure the future of CWL. I wonder how big the loan/subsidy (delete as appropriate) would have to be to entice a route to NYC?
