Not sure an A320 was ever used on this route but A321 (and latterly A330) for sure. I went down there a few times myself in a 321. It was planned for a fuel stop in Malaga both ways as even the extra fuel tank in the 321s meant that London-Freetown non-stop was not possible
A321 also went via a Marrakech tech stop occasionally. Just shuddered thinking about the Lungi Airport Hotel😧
