The Chinese PM chose BHX not MAN to fly into due to business ventures etc.for a visit to JLR. Who have recently opened a huge factory in China and plan at least 1 more.
Recent press reports saying West Midlands now the biggest business market outside London for China.. whether that is actually true I don't know.
Think there is still hope for MAN in that BHX flts are still charter and the Chancellor named MAN for the next Chinese link so could still be announced.
However it may well be that the focus is now on BHX and that if this greatly expanded programme from 3 last year to 17 or 18flts this year if a success ,perhaps could lead to sced flts from Brum perhaps next year ?.
Don't give up hope yet though you could still get themat MAN.
