The insurance on a 1050 will be about £500 more a year, the permit is more, at our strip it will cost more to hangar and the bits can cost more too. Don't get me wrong, the 1050 is a great aircraft and I love flying them, but it is not as cost effective as the 117/120 unless you need the extra seat(s).
