For the route to Groningen, the load factor has been 40.2% in January, which is the lowest since the start of the route in June last year (it has been fluctuating between 40% and 60%). Total passenger numbers for the first eight months are 14,211, which is still on track to reach Stobart's stated target of 20,000 passengers in the first year.
The increase of frequency to 7 weekly flights has been widely advertised here in Groningen lately, which should hopefully lead to higher awareness of the route (many people still use the airports of Amsterdam or Bremen to fly to London).
