As a SLF on both Virgin and Qantas, I have no problems using the rear stairs on the occasions when Virgin offers them and I am towards the rear - very often in Adelaide, not that often in Sydney. End result is I am in the terminal a lot quicker, and get a good snort of Jet A1 on the way.
