I must try to find the pictures I took of the end of the AM2 matting, with hook dinks within a few inches of the end of the runway. Not the end, actually ... the last couple of sloping planks
after the end. Viewing those became part of the arrival routine walkabout, along with the reminder to fly the PAPIs and not try to duck under on final ... there were 5 arrester cables to choose from, with at least 2 rigged
