In the seventies, I recall walking to work in London keeping my distance from post boxes - until they closed them all up. This is different. As has been said, no mercy is being shown, no demands that can possibly be met, made. It would appear that we are at the point of war for want of a better description. I believe that in the last couple of wars, internment was put in place. Undeniably, some innocents would be wronged but at least Europe wouldn't have to watch its own back while trying to deal with the problem abroad.
