LUANDA DC-8 3D-ETM
I was the Flight Engineer on the DC-8, # 3D-ETM, in Luanda. After 3 weeks of telephone calls to Eric, David and Rashied, listening to lies, broken promises etc. I never received one penny of compensation for 6 weeks of work with theses people and delivering this DC-8 to Africa. In jeopardy of losing my home in the states I finally had to pull the plug and come home at my own expense, $2000.00 USD, which believe me I could not afford. The Captain and Co-Pilot remained hoping to get paid; as of right now, 6 June 2003, I have no idea how they have faired in that endeavor.
I would hope that anyone reading this does not ever answer an ad from NORTHEAST AIRLINE!!! They will promise you the world, act like the most sincere people in the world, tell you of past troubles and tell you all the problems are past and they are all fixed now. They will sweet-talk you like you have never heard, DO NOT BELIEVE ONE WORD. They are evil and prey on the misfortune of out of work airline workers. They have no conception of truth, fair play, honor, decency and play by a rule book that is make up moment by moment. If you do go against this advice and accept work from NORTHEAST make sure you have the money promised in your hand BEFORE you ever leave home, if you don’t, you have fallen into their web and you too will be adding your sad tale of woe on this forum!!!!
