Rainer Wilke at Air 14 in Switzerland

Last year at Air 14 in Payerne Switzerland:

The comments are a bit but the show was great.
I had the chance to talk to him after the show.
The two BO 105 in Europe are registered in Germany as acrobatic helicopters. Not experimental like in the US. Somebody gave me a number. After only 18 hours of flying aerobatics, they have to do quite a bit of maintenance. Probably Flying Bull could comment on that.
Rainer Wilke is the man, who trained all the pilots - including Chuck Aaron - who fly today aerobatics with the BO 105.
Chuck Aron did some modifications on his ships, the European ones have none whatsoever. They are of the shelf BO 105s.
From the ground - and I was standing right below the flight line - I could see, that Rainer Wilke even does a sort of hesitation roll.
Learning to fly like that is on my completelyunrealisticwishes-bucket list, together with drumming like Chester Thomson and finding out what happens in a singularity.
