2014 wasn't a good year for Norwegian.
Here is the citation from Financial Times
Shares in Norwegian Air plunged 14 per cent on Thursday morning after the low cost carrier crashed into the red for the first time in eight years.

The airline made a net loss of NKr1.05bn in 2014, down from a net profit of NKr321.6m in 2013 after the airline was hit by strikes, costly disputes with US regulators over its trans-Atlantic flights and problems with its new Boeing Dreamliner aircraft

Bjørn Kjos, chief executive, said:

There is no denying that 2014 has been a weak year for Norwegian… there is no doubt that we need to further reduce our cost level in order to stay competitive in a very challenging market.

Disruptions on Norwegian's long-haul routes cost the company NKr265m as it had to hire replacement aircraft and pay for food and accommodation for delayed passengers.

The loss of NKr1.05bn was almost double Bloomberg analyst consensus of NKr686.4m.
