The station I'm talking about is not "union" friendly. There are certain staff members who TUPE'd over that are union. However, it doesn't do them much good. And because they TUPED over they are not eligible for a pay raise until they sign a new M contract. And that contract makes their sick pay disappear. Heck - I advised my TUPE guys to stick with their existing contract - Time and a half OT, Sick Pay etc.
Victimization doesn't begin to explain the situation. It's all about the £££. So I left haha!
