Question for BA long haul pilots
Now that the new pay scales have been in for a few months is it making much difference to how people bid and consequently your life styles. I gather that flight pay is based on time away, rather than the destination. Inparticular what is life like at the bottom of the seniority list.
Not knowing much about the long haul life styles; are the people towards the bottom of the seniority list permenantly flying the ultra long stuff with heavy crews, few take off and landings and longer periods of time away?
If anyone could shed some light on it, I'd much appreciate it!
Cheers.
