However things can be done in the short term...
First of all Manchester is a Coordinated airport under the EU slot Regulation, so it's not a free for all. The scheduling limits should help keep a lid on peak period growth.
And then there are operational things you can do in the building to reduce congestion as it starts to build if you have the appropriate monitoring systems, resources and staff in place.
And better to plan now than rather than try and react when the s*it hits the fan.
