I was wowed out by the curvature of the Earth, with dark blue to black above and the most brilliant Azure blue below, and then Stars, no longer twinkling, no turbulence, only a slight bump when M2 was arrived at, quiet enough to hold a normal conversation I still cannot really believe we had that in the 1970's What a piece of Kit, after landing on the run out and taxi back I also remember seeing hundreds of faces all looking and waving at the A/c I was arriving in, what an experience..!!
it will be in my mind till the lamps go out..
