RIP Nick Mitchley
Nick passed away on Wednesday after a skiing accident in Japan whilst on holiday with his wife. We went to school together and followed each others careers closely. Nick learnt to fly in Zambia and was trained at Scone (Perth) before joining Dan Air on the HS748 based in Aberdeen. He later flew for Britannia on 767 before leaving for Royal Brunei after a brief return to Bush flying where he has been eversince.
I believe that there will be a private service in Kyoto next week but a memorial service in Brunei second week of February for his friends and colleagues.
A true gentleman and a long lost friend of over 40 years dearly missed
