I assume you mean 2000 total time rather than 2000hrs on the 208? Hm. OK it makes it sound a little less like the next step for me given I should be around the 550hr mark within the next 2 months. I'm sure they'd prefer someone who didn't require as many hours before moving to PIC. Couldn't hurt to throw in a resume though but I'd hate to go up there, pay for an endo and then find that I hadn't met their standard solely due to being a relatively low-time pilot trying to jump straight into a turbine. That's my main concern.
