Dependent on base it can be a 5am check in to a 11:30pm check out.
Duties are wide and varied and as said before the amount of night stopping varies massively per base. From BHD with very little to MAN with very much. I think I'm right in saying that every base (not sure on new ABZ base) will have night stops this summer of varying levels. But there are systems in place to bid for more or less.
Anywhere from 1-6 sector days (again base dependent) but the variety of flying is great. AMS WAT is/was a duty from BHX - vectors to a 4 mile final on to a ridiculously long runway to within a couple of hours flying an NDB arc onto what can only be described as a 737 parking stand of a runway!
Flight deck can normally be rostered up to six days on with a minimum of three off afterwards. Protection around leave days and a few other benefits too. Full time is currently random roster but applications can be made for fixed days off I believe.
Plus the Dash makes even the most repetitive of days interesting...
