Not sure the ramifications of Hainan has fully sank in, this really is great news.
For those of us who may have lost track slightly on Hainan, please can we have an update on the status?
Do I understand that although not yet bookbable, on some system (Chroma or GDS?) the flights are now loaded with arrival and departure times 4 x weekly?
Do we know if ground handling arrangements are in place?
Has the necessary government approval been obtained, or is this not required as it fits within the bilateral agreement?
Have Hainan applied for LHR flights and does the outcome of that in any way affect the decision to operate to MAN? Or is Hainan in effect excluded from LHR anyway?
