, thanks for all the useful info - I recently inheritted my grandfather's WW1 and WW2 medals, and was looking to get them mounted for home display, although part of me is reticent to do so as he never wore them, so the issued medals are still in the box they came in (He wore his service ribbons on his Merchant navy unifrom)
