The more the Shannon catchment flies from Shannon, the more airlines will provide sustainable routes. Stobart have chosen not to provide capacity from Shannon anymore showing how wafer thin margins are from the west coast.
So when the airport stops believing their doing a good job and actually starts finding ways to improve the attractiveness of airlines to the airport we may soon see sustainable growth over and above what Dublin is seeing.
