If loads of cadets are willing to pay 30000€ to fly a Ryanair B737-800 or Wizzair A320 with sharklet for a rubbish salary and horrible T&Cs, there will be even more assholes willing to pay 30000 euros to fly a B747-400 or an A380. At least they feel important on their facebook page when the show their selfies taken with their smartphone.
Anyway, the B747-400 is no more difficult to operate than a B737NG, a frozen ATPL cadet can do that right after celebrating their 19th birthday.
Airline managers know how ridiculous is this new generation pilots. Yes they are modern slaves.
