Dear Flyhalf,
A good attempt at guessing the numbers, but not quite right
Currently 6*737s and 3*767s. We should have by the end of training around 320 cabin crew just at LGW.
Can i also remind you of 4 aircraft in MAN and one in GLA. Next year there will be more....
Long haul Caribbean is signed up, but that is just one 767. There is a good possibility of more than that being here all winter, but nothing else signed as yet.
With recruitment and ID problems I would be amazed if anyone decent was allowed to leave at the end of this season, so your comment about this not being a long term option was unfair. I would assume the opposite of what you wrote - if you are good you will be kept on.
And not sure what you mean when you suggest new people won't do Carib trips. There will be no division of bases - if you are at LGW you will fly 737 / 767, wherever. Whatever best fits the roster.
It is a good company to work for, and is certainly going in the right direction. You should have no concerns about joining!
