Or maybe they should not try to overfly such storm nor get as close as they did...too many pilots still think its ok to fly right at the edge of a large storm,sometimes they get lucky sometimes not,unfortunately the passengers behind dont have a say and definitively dont deserve the outcome.
I find this boeing unreliable pitch/speed table to be laughable...if u cant remeber a basic set of pitch/thrust to stay safe then you have nothing to do in a flight deck.
