It is relevant. If you have never had to fight weather AND some crazy autopilot at the same time, you have no frame of reference for what we are talking about. Kind of like how a a GPS map coupled to an engine governor that will never allow a car to exceed the speed limit makes perfect sense to a bicycle rider from Bermuda who has never driven a car or seen a highway
