If you fly a descent and approach properly in the 767, the thrust levers shouldn’t move till 1000’ anyway, they should be at idle!!
And below 1000 I guess you are gonna
feel the thrust levers moving forward with your hand, and if during a visual your copilot inadvertantly selects level change - or open descent- I guess you are gonna
feel them coming back again.
This
feel may reach your brain well before your eyes do so.
I think this contributed a lot to the indian crash.
