That's exactly what (s)he's there for. They're not two headed dragons - and in the extremely unlikely event that (s)he does pull your class 2 then there would be a good reason for it!
The CAA website has PART-MED references which should also provide guidance/advice for you. Failing that download it from the EASA website.
Sorry to sound harsh - but the horses mouth is often the best source....
