Surely
'To my mind for a management to produce something like this reflects their utter frustration with the staff who work for them and their attitude.
I do not know which airline it is, nor do I totally agree with the letter as a way of solving the problem, but I do think management have an absolute right to bring to the attention of their staff that their attitude needs to improve.'
To issue the above memo/letter to staff smacks of one thing. No management by the managers. If things have got so bad, the above needed to be issued, the style of management needs a close look at, and soon.
Without knowing the Airline in question, perhaps it is not my place to comment, yet as an Ops pro, as many of us concider ourselves, there is more to this than meets the eye.
If said post is legit, more fool the boys and girls for the rebellion, more fool the management for allowing the situation to get so bad. The cause must be very deep rooted!
'3. Do you feel that your managers trust you to do a good job?'
Sometimes, getting payed at the end of the day is the only way we know.
Good luck to all involved, get this resolved, quickly, before it is all too late, for troops, managers and the detriment of the Airline.
