Issuance of EASA atpl for JAR (UK) atpl
Hello all,
I'm in far east and want to replace my UK issued JAR atpl with an EASA atpl. I've called the CAA Gatwick just before they closed for the New Year's week and they said it was possible to come to the public counter and have one day replacement on my license on Friday the 2nd of January for example. Also it was not necessary for me to surrender my JAR atpl at that time.
My question is this: If I stay here in the orient can I have the UK CAA send me the license to a location here by sending them the £139 fee? If so how long do you think it will take for them to send it out because I am scheduled to take an EASA LPC on the 6th of January at BKK.
